5 Reasons to celebrate destination wedding at resort

Indian wedding generally is a very elaborate ceremony which can last from one day to more than a week. Hotels, wedding halls are widely used places for the Indian wedding. However farmhouses or resorts are also a good option if you want to celebrate Multiday weddings.

Here are some things which will make you think why you should go for farmhouse or resort wedding.

1. perfect reason to keep the guest list simple- If you are planning hometown wedding then you will have to invite every single person that you know, in that you will not get  a chance to talk to your close friends and relatives. If you plan a wedding away from the town in the resort other people are not obligated to come because of time or monetary constraint.

2. Creativity- if you plan a wedding away from the home you will get a change to be more creative on the venue, food, attire, decoration and entertainment. such as you can plan the indoor and outdoor parties with limited restrictions.

3. Freebie- many of the resorts offer free event planning help for couple if you have large group booking so you can spent more time with your family and friends. You can make use of each and every facility of the resort right from the planning parties at pool to the terrace.

4. Perfect combination - Perfect combination of event celebration, site seeing and family reunion. If you plan your destination wedding at a resort, you family and close friends will get a chance to reunite and they can have a nice time.  Also the guests from both parties can get a chance to mingle with each other and to get involved

5. Save on decor- These places are mostly located in a calm environment and away from the city on the beaches, vineyard, state park or  blooming gardens so you can get stunning scenic backdrops and good chance for outdoor scenic photography.

Lawn or garden is a good place to celebrate mehndi and sangeet event where you can enjoy to the fullest with friends and family.

  1. Indian weddings are really fun! I attended one when I was in India and it takes almost 2-5 days for the whole ceremony. I haven’t seen more passionate people at weddings anywhere else. I am also getting married in one of the New York wedding venues and a few of my Indian friends are also visiting.
